I joined the amazing Homepolish team here, in New York City from March 2014 through January 2016. Before I was taken on by the growing brand, I had to complete a challenge. The challenge was to show my design style within a space and contain myself to a $40K budget.

I chose to work on my own apartment at the time, and really show how the space could transform to be an incredible bachelorette pad. The space was taken from a 1 1/2 bedroom, to a functional open-layout 1 bedroom dwelling. I chose to focus mainly on the living, bedroom and kitchen area, leaving the bathroom as is.

As you can see, my style is fun, eclectic and full of color. I tend to choose modern pieces and complement them with some vintage accents. I kept the walls a clean shade of white using anthropologie wall paper to create two accent walls throughout the space. I also created several open storage components throughout the apartment, allowing the space to encompass an all around open feel.
