The Background

A graduate from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in Interior design in 2012. After her acceptance of the Academic Achievement Award in interior design, Sarah decided to leave the city of Philadelphia for New York City. Sarah then worked in the commercial side of interior design managing, designing, and updating offices around the country for Arch Insurance Group.

After spending over two years in commercial design, Sarah chose to change directions and is now working at Peter Marino Architect, designing residences on Mr. Marino's residential design team. Sarah's style has been described as sophisticated, edgy and modern with a quirky twist. Her favorite designs always entail a beautiful mix of modern patterns and prints with a vintage line.

In 2012, Sarah took her love for interiors and started the blog Color Me Quirky. The blog has since been featured on West Elm’s blog Front & Main, the online magazine Delighted as well as several other collaborations.
